Just purchased a brand 60" LG 60PK550 Plasma to replace our tiny 37" Vizio. This is our first ever plasma tv and we can def. tell the difference. With the Vizio I barely had to mess with any of the settings to get a perfect picture.

With the LG plasma, it's been a headache trying to calibrate it. Especially for sports (football mostly because the screen is too green). On our xbox the picture is awesome but through regular cable, even on HD channels tweaking still needs to be done. All the tweaking I've done has only made it worst. Would appreciate any help!

Thanks!

The tv has a display wizard ... how about using it.

Greetings

Then get a test disc and follow the instructions ... and they will actually get you something similar to the wizard ... which is closer to what it is supposed to look like.

What something is supposed to look like ... is not the necessarily the same thing as something you like.

This link describes what calibration is all about. If it is not what you are looking for, then you are in the wrong forum area.
