LG 77" CX Denon 3700H eARC problem

1091 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Wayne9000
Hello I recently purchased an LG 77" CX to use with my Denon 3700H AVR. I hooked up the ARC output of the Denon to HDMI input 2 of the CX. Initially everything was working great. When using the TV apps to stream the receiver was getting the audio and control from the TV. When playing Xbox through the AVR or using the AVR setup menu the image would appear on the TV. Although I don't think I changed anything the TV stopped displaying any video from the AVR and is now saying no input signal. If I hook up to a different output on the AVR or a different input on the TV it works but then I would have no ARC. already tried a reset, a factory reset, changed to new HDMI cables and called LG customer support. No dice so far. Any advice?

Thanks
Wayne

Sounds like a problem with the AVR. Contact Denon tech support.
I know that you said that it was working. But, I'm going to ask this question anyway. Are you sure that you have an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable between the AVR and TV?

If you need to, you can test your cable's capability using a hidden menu on the Denon AVR.

Yes, I tried 3 different cables including a brand new monoprice ultra high speed
Anyone else have any ideas?
