I have a LG 42LC7d HDTV. When I plug it in and press the power button, the power light blinks about 3 times and then stays solid green. The tv does not turn on though. Has anyone run into this problem? Any tips or fixes?

My Viewsonic N3760w did the same thing last week and I found that the power supply had bad capacitors. Seven of them were swollen and I replaced a total of 13 for less than 10 bucks. Works great now.

Also had a Optiquest Q9B-2 monitor that had a bad cap that I had to replace to fix it.

Then my PC started having problems a month after I added a second disk drive and I found it had a bad cap. Replaced it and eliminate that problem.

Sounds like you need a new PSU. I have used a company named ShopJimmy.com in the past with great success. Try their site, it's ShopJimmy . com Hope that helps!
