I was checking out these two sets at Best Buy and they were sold out of the B8 and couldn't get it anymore. They had the C9 on display, so I was looking at it as it is supposedly very similar to the B8, and was looking at the Samsung Q80r QLED. In the showroom with normal in store lighting, I thought the Q80 looked really good with great blacks. The OLED looked amazing. Anti reflective screen on the Q80 was *extremely* good and I have a lot of glare in my living room from windows and such so, I pulled the trigger in the Q80. It will be delivered Monday. I've been researching and analyzing my decision hoping that I don't regret not getting the OLED picture quality.
Sooooo, I just placed an order for the LG 65B8 with expected delivery of 8/20. So I'll have the Q80 for a week by then.
Anyone have first hand experience with both want to offer opinions? Reading up on all the reviews and forums posts, I go from thinking the differences are night and day to subtle and occasional.
