Hey guys, looking for some help here. I've been searching around and haven't found any answers to my problem.

I have a decent sized collection of mkv 1080p and 720p movies.

I finally got a set-top box to help me watch it on the big screen.

All the videos are being streamed from my home server running twonky.

Some videos play no problem, but there are quite a few that give me and error. I either get a "Unknown Video Format" or "Video resolution not supported"

I have looked at the encoding of the videos and I can't seem to tell why one is much different than the other. Most are encoded as MPEG4/ISO/AVC and h.264 High @L4.1

If anyone has any idea whats going on please let me know. Or recommend a box that would work better (remembering I live in Canada).

I have the same problem --- and apparenttly a large number of people are having the same issue since the last firmware update.

Its even worse with Plex support.. in that you get the pretty interface with all the metadata and images etc, and then can't actually watch a movie on it.
