LG SuperSlim "30" 30FS4D - SD Picture Quality?

I've read the 30FS4D message thread that is on this forum and I'm interested in this tv. It's gotten good feed back on it's HD picture quality. But what I'm interested in is how good is it's standard def. picture quality? I have HD signal through my cable provider and OTA but there are several channels I enjoy watching that only broadcast in Standard Def.

Any feed back on the standard def. would be appreciated.

I've found that it depends entirely on the source. Even on the same channel, some SD pictures look great, some stink.

I couldn't agree with you more... One thing that seemed to make a difference in my setup has been using a splitter to send the signal straight to the TV, bypassing the cable box when it's not needed.
