my BG808s says that it has LIDO in it, how do i use it? can it be used on all ports?


when i start my HTPC up and look at the POST screen i can realy see the scanlines, can the LIDO be used here?

LIDO is available only with video signals. (Composite Video and S-video)


When you use HTPC, there is no need to use LIDO. Just set bigger resolution from your pc.


With pc you get better PQ than using s-video+LIDO.

I believe you can turn it off or on via the menus. I don't believe the remote has a dedicated button for it.

Yes it can be switched on or off But you may aswell leave it on does not hurt


It is a internal Line doubler thats works on input signals from (svideo,composite video) if you run a laser player or tv


If you run Htpc it dictates the resolution set by yourself same applies to progressive dvdplayers
