I am looking at two different line doublers. 1st is the DVDO iscan and the other is the TV1 doubler and scaler. 1st question, which is the latest version of the DVDO is it plus or is it the v2. 2nd question is the TV1 scaler and doubler. Is one better than the other. I am putting it on a AmPro 2000 D pj. I just want to sharpen up the picture. Thanks for any input that you might give me. Allan

The latest version of the DVDO is the PRO.


Ver1= Original =$

Ver2 added squeeze mode to get a 4:3 pic on a HDTV screen=$$

Pro added component inputs =$$$


Sorry I dont know anything about the TV1

I also looked at the low priced TV one stuff. It really isn't designed for PJ use - if you look at TV One's web site they say it themselves. They do have more expensive stuff - I'm not sure how that is. I decided to get a used Iscan V1 and couldn't be happier. I think the Iscan will get you about 90% of the quality of the best scaler.
