I know this isn't something new, but does anyone know what the lines that appear in moving brght areas on a LCD-projector? Is it a product of the de-interlacing process or maybe a product of the panel-control? I'm sure I saw it when I used my HTPC too, I'm using a prog. scan DVD-player now.

I just finished watching Harry Potter R2 and in the beginning the lines were very obvious, more so than I've ever seen in any movie before. That's weird!

Hi,

That's normal. All LCD projectors have this scan-line-effect-around-vertical-motion-object artifact. Why, I don't know...
