Anyone know of the right settings to get the PS3 streaming to work with the Linksys router (wired) BEFSR41?


I've tried everything to no avail.


When connected directly (CAT6 PC PS3) it works fine, using WMP11. When connected thru the router they can't see each other at all.

In your linksys settings. Under security tab. Enable filter multicast.

THANK YOU that's all I needed to do (after I enabled UPnP ..) works great.

Hmm. Did you enable UPnP in your routers settings? It should still work w/out having to enable that. Have you tried for kicks?

Yes I enabled it yesterday, but it didn't help.


It's working now though, so I'm not going to mess with it.
