Hey guys


I'm sure you've all seen the new Linksys wireless music thing. Its like $150, it looks freaking sweet. It has speakers and a LCD built in. It uses Wireless-B, and it's linksys so it's gotta be good


I was curious if anyone had played with it yet and had anything to say? I'm interested in what they mean by portable. They say you can carry it with you. Does the thing itself take batteries, or does it recharge when you plug it in the wall (the 2nd option is badass!)

I think what they mean by portable is that it's wireless B, hence it's portable. The user manual on their website doesn't mention anything about installing batteries, so it's probably a good bet it only runs off AC power.


IMO, if this thing works anything like their Wireless B Media Adaptor then it's a waste of money. Any media player that can't handle the cueing of songs while music is playing is just retarded.
