I am hoping that some people here have played with LIRC before.
Following the MythTV docs and Lirc docs I have been able to get my Leadtek winTV2000XP remote working on the leadtek card [for receiving].
After that, I decided to try to get my Atisys200L irda to work on serial port1 of the machine. After much difficulty, I think I may almost have that working also.
To finally get to the point - My end goal is to have the leadtek running as the reciever and the actisys via serial as the transmitter on my cable box.
Am I going to need to run two seperate LIRC instances / conf files ? If so, how would this be accomplished?
I am not such a linux expert, so any help would be appreciated. The lirc docs, seem very specific to getting it to either transmit or recieve, but not both.
