st_nick,

Your guess is as good as mine in using these codes with a controller. I hope that one of the more experienced members would help to shed light on how to use and program these discrete codes.

The settings above... they cycle through options for that feature? (ie, "on"/"off"). If so, that seems very indiscrete, if you catch my pun.

I do not know the answer to that question. Samsung sent me this list calling it discrete codes for there DLP's. I immediately passed it along to the forum.

I dunno what FACTORY and 3-SPEED are. Help?

And I'd really like to know how to apply the discrete codes to my old Cinema 6 (which I presume works like the Cinema 7) for teaching my Remote of the Gods.

This has been covered here and in other threads.

There are several types of programmable remotes and methods used to enjoy the discrete function capability of the newer Samsung firmware.

You either need to own the right types of remote or buy them OR a cheap remote that can accept programming. You can then use that remote to "teach" your main learning remote.
