I purchased the Denonj 2807 today and have it all setup I think. Anyway I wanted to know which mode to set it to when watching movies?I currently have it set to Cinema but wanted to get another opinion of which mode brings the most effect. Also when I put it on Pure Direct mode the screen goes blank. Anybody know the reason for this? Thanks!

Hello, I just got a 2807 today too, loving it so far (even though I'm having some frustration with the "user modes" and getting it to let me watch one source while listening to a CD without having to go switch sources on the unit....likely I'm missing something right in front of my face. I hope)


The Pure Direct mode is supposed to turn off everything (video, etc) in order to deliver the best quality audio; thus, no picture!
