I have a Samsung LN-T4061F and the pictures just recently started having these red outlines appear around objects. It seems like a signal processing issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? What causes this? It seems to only occur when the TV is first turned on. I never see it happen if the TV has been on for awhile.

About a month ago there was a post with a similar problem to yours. A tech who posts here recommended opening the back of the tv and reattaching a main cable connection in the tv which runs from one of the boards to the main pic panel and some other connections, and the poster reported success.


I don't have the exact info but wanted to let you know there may be a simple fix if you have time to seach thru the threads for the post.

Thanks, I tried reseating all the cables. So far I have not seen the problem. However it doesn't do it all the time. Hopefully it fixed it.
