Ln52A750 vs LN52B750

Buying a new tv in the next week or so. It'll mostly be used for gaming (360 and ps3), some blu-ray movies, and a little SD tv/streaming content from netflix.

The LN52B750 is a bit out of my price-range. I'm willing to stretch myself a little further, but do you guys truly think the B750 is worth the premium over the A750? Is the 240hz vs 120hz going to make a big difference in gaming and whatnot? Is the higher contrast ratio going to make a huge difference in picture quality?

I thought we already had this discussion in another thread. Just make up your own mind and get the one you want. They are both excellent TVs, so make up your own mind already. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and make a decision. If we steer you the wrong way do you want our full names, addresses and phone numbers also? Jeeeez!!!!
The best way to tell which one's right for you is to check both of them out. Personally, if the A750 is avaliable - I'd take it. I mean it's a really good television and you can get it for a great price. As much as I want to save money, the best choice for me is definitely the A750.

I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 120hz and 240hz - hardly anyone can.

I bite the bullet when I'm deciding what to get for lunch, not when I'm spending $1500-2000 on a tv I'll be staring at for the next 5 years.

That's fine. However, my only gripe is people like you who have to start several different threads on exactly the same thing because they feel they aren't getting the attention they want on the other threads they've started. A prime example is the one you just started on the difference in price between the 46" and 52" versions of the A750. A little research on your own behalf would have given you the answer instead of starting a new thread. Or, why couldn't you have asked the question in one of your existing multiple threads?
