Sorry If this is the wrong forum for this, but I'm having some issues with my TV and its 23 days out of Warranty now.


Basically if we power the tv on the power light flashes and you hear a clicking noise in the back like its trying to turn on. This would happen about 10 times then the TV would turn on. Now it just stays in an endless cycle of clicking in the back and never powering on.


I have seen some mention of capacitors being an issue and it might be easy to fix. Any input is appreciated.

Probly a power supply prob. Have the gut to open it up and check out the caps? Bad caps would look like melted (as subjected to high temp) and maybe brown color (like burn). Got a soldering iron?

I would try Samsung first. This seems to be a pretty common problem, happened to my A550. FWIW i was never asked to prove what date I purchased the set, though it was only 11 months old.
