I have the DirecTV PLus by Sony that comes with 2 LNB's as well as 2 LNB's that came with 2 Dish 5000's I bought.

Which LNB's are required in a Dual Provider Setup?a for Dish 500/300 HD AND DirecTV 101 & 110 (HD)?

Are my Dish LNB's "twin" or "dual-dual" and which do I need?

Are the DirecTV LNB's useable?

What are you trying to do? Get HD with dish or directv or both. Dish uses both a dish 500 and a dish 300 for there 6000 HD Ird. You can not use a twin with a HD set up, It won't work with the SW64 switch you need it get all 3 satellites. You can use a dish 500 dual and a directv single lnb dish with a SW64 or 3 Single dishs. Hope this helps.

Nawh, I just had my head up my a**.

I've got all dual LNB's.

I'm trying to use a DirecTV Plus Elliptical Dish in a dual provider configuration to get DirecTV 101,119 and Dish 101,110,119 on the Elliptical and Dish 61.5 or 148 on a seperate Dish 300 18".

Will it work out of the box or are the angles of the LNB mounts in the DirecTV Plus Elliptical Dish askew or comprimised?
