LNXXB650 Panel Version

I'm curious to find out what version of panel/TV you have? I just purchased a LN32B650 last week and found a stuck pixel. It was version: AA01

What version do you have? What is the latest version?

Have you called samsung for warranty repair?

Not sure I understand why you are asking for other people's panel version number?
I have a bad panel. It's build/panel version AA01. If others have had problems with their sets it would be nice to be able to see a trend. Maybe there have been a lot of AA01s returned...maybe not. I'm out to satisfy my own curiosity, but maybe others will find this information useful as well.

I understand that pixel issues are very common with LCD screens and that normally it's not considered a defective panel unless there are more then say 3 dead or stuck pixels, however I just purchased this TV and I'm still in that return policy timeframe. I will be taking this panel back, but wanted a better idea of what to look for with the new one. Is AA01 very old? Are they up to version AA04? Who knows? I would like to find out.
AAO's are from AOU, CN0's are from Chi Mei, and the S panels are from Samsung. In terms of stuck or dead pixels, there shouldn't be any relation to panel manufacturer. However, in terms of overall picture quality, the panels directly from Samsung are usually the best, followed by the AOU panels and then the Chi Mei panels. This is one of the major reasons I'm wary about buying a Samsung LCD.
dangit, that means I have a crappy panel T_T

Can any 55" owners post their panels? I heard most 55" models are CN01...
Thanks Yukon Trooper. Good info.

I replaced the T.V. last night. The new T.V. is also version AA01, but tested it extensively using my own DVD before leaving the store. I found no issues.

I was able to get it all setup again last night. Love it!
So Samsung still has the panel lottery going on.. does this affect 40"+ 650 and up or is it only smaller sizes/lower end models? Considering the price you pay for 650 and up models that is a bit disappointing.
