Local stations streaming live network shows and sports

Will the local stations which already stream their local news ever stream their network primetime shows and sports live on their own streaming apps? Thanks for any info.

Streaming rights for prime time and sports programing are licensed to the networks, who pay big $$$ for it (especially sports). Some already have paid subscription services to access it (Peacock and Paramount+). Why would they let a local station give it away for free or via their own subscription service?
