This may be a really dumb questions and if so my apologies in advance.


I purchased the z-5500 about 6 months ago with a new pc. Now I am ready to dive into the land of LCD TVs and wondered if I could use the z-5500 for my overall home theater system or if I should keep that for gaming on my pc and add either the onkyo s790 or Denon DHT-487DV.


Music quality is pretty important to us followed closely by movie viewing

I have had the Logitech Z-5500s for a very long time. I used them specifically for my home theater (HD DVD player and music). It sounds great and haven't really had a problem with it.


I just upgraded this system to the Onkyo HT-S790 because of the analog inputs and overall upgrade to the system.
