Can anyone suggest an inexpensive, under 4k projector, that will allow me to use a 43" H x 57" W screen with a 15.5 foot throw distance. Acoording to my research that screen size would fill a 30 degree field of view from my couch.

I would like to avoid the expense of a 60" H x 80" W acoustically transparent screen. Also, with a 8.5 foot viewer to screen distance I think the image would be to large for the wife acceptance factor. Additionally I would like to avoid a projector that requires a seperate expensive telephoto zoom lens. My total budget fot screen and projector is under 5k. Thanks in advance for you advice.

The Seleco HT200 has a focal length of 2.3 to 3.2 (times width of the screen). So fully zoomed out you would be at 15 ft. for a 57" screen width. The only trouble is the cost is about $1000 more than you've budgeted -- assuming you use a white plastic table cloth instead of a real screen.
