I'm converting our family room to an HTPC. The PC will be about 25' from the HDTV (Hit 43FWX). Using a Radeon 9000 Pro and AA9A60 (VGA > YPbPr). Best to run a long VGA cable and convert close to the HDTV or convert at the HTPC and run a long YPbPr cable?

Thanks,

For a 25' I really would recommend a really good VGA cable. No the cheap ones that you can buy in a computer store, they normally don't even have 75 ohm connectors.

So you would suggest running VGA the distance and then convert to YPbPr at the HDTV?

Agree on the cable quality.
