Im not sure, but you can always get a CO2 device from www.midiman.com

it is a device that "boosts" the signal over really long runs and also can take a optical input and output coax or viceaversa. a handy little box. I think they cost around 60.

Looking to place my video equipment as close as possible to the projector I wonder what is the longest digital coax run I can do without problems ? Is there a limit ? Any downsides ?

I have a 75ft run working like a charm. It is a belden cable with 95% braided shielding and solid 20 gauge center core, designated as a RG59. Custom terminated with canare crimp on RCA connectors. Total Cost was 15$. Don O'Brien
