Hi All,

I'm currently looking at the Sony DVD-NS755, I have seem them for about $225 online, I have seen the player in action and I'm very impressed, it will be hooking up to a MITSU 55" HD Ready Widescreen. My question is, Is this really the player for me, I have seen a lot of threads about the Denon players picture quality, can anyone give me some advice on one vs. the other or recommend a sub $300 player?

Thanks in advance for the help

I have a Sony NS755V I use for SACD's, it's hooked up to my Sony 40XBR800. I did not care for its picture quality for playing back DVD's. I use a Panasonic XP50 to watch movies, its a lot better than the NS755V both in Picture Quality and deinterlacing performance. I think I would order a Denon 1600 right now if I were you looking for a $300 DVD player, unless you really need SACD. The NS755V is a decent SACD player for the price.
