I am new to this, and the Toshiba 42H83 has caught my eye. First off it seems to be on sale at all the local retailers, and the key for me is it is very shallow (18 2/3" deep according to their site). So I am looking for something 20" deep or less preferably. I don't think I have found any other sets that can fit under that besides DLP which is way out of my range.
Is this a good entry level TV? My current TV is a 25" generic brand, so anytihng is an improvement. Reliability is key for me over super perfect picture quality... I just want something that will work for normal cable tv viewing and the ocassional DVD (which probably will be connected via s-vid -- maybe components if it really makes that big of a difference) and maybe some video games like xbox.
Any other suggestions, or anything unreliable about this Toshiba?
Thanks!
