Hi folks,

I have the ol' HK configured to send a pre-out (L&R,) "Zone 2" signal to a separate amp which powers my outdoor speakers. Well... the ol' girl is on her death bed now and the budget doesn't allow a replacement of her caliber.

Since I don't mind running analog (RCA) cables along with HDMI, I was about ready to pull the trigger on the Yammy RX-V377 (currently $179,99 on Amazon!)... figuring that I could simply use its analog audio outs.

Well... turns out I can. Only we would have to switch off HDMI each time we wanted to listen to tunes outside. Not super convenient. The WAF would probably be at or near zero. I can hear the desperate phone calls to my office now!

Yamaha says the only convenient way to do it with one of their receivers is to bump up to the Zone 2 capable units. Well... I wanna' spend 180 bucks. Or as close as I can to that... and still get decent sound AND get some kind of simple 2-channel pre-out capability.

Your recommendations would be much appreciated.
