I need a way to record from two bullet cam's mounted on a car from two separate streams.

Most of the main race/rallycam manufacturers sell single stream recordings with either a switcher or a picture in picture setup (Hoyttech, Chasecam, Rallycam, etc...)

Can someone tell me how to record the feeds from the two cameras so that in post processing i can cut from the front view to the side/rear view without having to have picture-in-picture forced?

Also, something that can be powered off a cigarette lighter (12V DC) would be prefered, but i can always get a power inverter so AC is also fine.

Oh: It HAS to record to live memory like compact flash or another memorycard, DVD/HDD won't work in a car.

Maybe get two of something like the Aiptek A-HD, and use the AV inputs to record the output of the bullet cams. You will have full 720x480 that you can mix to your liking.
