I ended up getting a Garmin Nuvi 255w unit, and a "sticky disk" so I can mount the little unit on top of my dash but below windshield level (not blocking view of the road, nor blocking the instruments). Even with the lifetime maps and extended warranty, it's half the price of the unit you were pointing to, and my unit has been moved to a second car of a different brand, and all it cost me was a second "sticky disk".
The down side is that it doesn't blend with the manufacturer's style.
