Hey all,

I'm in need of a good, yet relatively cheap receiver for my living room at college. Some things I would like:

LOTS of Composite and/or S-Video inputs (more == better)

TOSLINK and/or SP/DIF inputs (MUST have 2, prefferably 3 or 4)

Dolby Digital. Prefferably also would have DTS and Pro Logic 2

Did I mention more inputs is better?

Good sound quality

Remote


I'd be perfectly happy buying something used - whatever gets me the most bang for my buck. I'd like to keep this under $200, but cheaper is better. I'd like at least 7 video inputs on the receiver, with more being better. Any suggestions?

It would be stretching your budget quite a bit but I would say check out the Pioneer 812K or the Panasonic SA-HE200S at BB and get them to finance it for 18-24 mo same as cash to deal with the extra cost. Or look for something similar on eBay.

My problem is I need to find more video inputs-I need a BARE MINIMUM of 5 inputs to hook up everything I have, and that leaves me no room for expansion, so I Would like more

I would also like at least on SP/DIF in, and prefferably 3 TOSLINK in's

You're asking for a lot, for only $200.

Well, what price would I have to get to to get what I want? Keep in mind I'm not necessating that the product be new-if someone can reccomend a good used receiver that would meet my requirements, and give a rough idea of the price, that would be fine.
