Looking for a good ED plasma

I have read everything, and now I am looking at an ED, I do like the panny 42pd25, but is it missing the 3:2 pull down, and is it that important?

Any feed back on the samsung SP-P4251 42?

Any other good models???

pkall: .........I looked at many sets over many weeks. And, finally, decided to buy the Panasonic 42" ED from BB with 4 yr warranty (repair or replacement) in the home. Got a very special price on the package after many words with the manager. Movies from a DVD player look wonderful on this set. And, from 12 feet, HD programming from Directv and over the air stations look great. Go out to stores and compare for yourself and be sure to watch some HD (like PBS or DiscoveryHD) over various displays. Compare for yourself. Only use the comments to be found on this Forum as a beginning guide. And Happy viewing! And, of course, there are many good sets to be viewed. For me, it was the Panasonic ED that won my heart. For you, it could be another set.

If you want and can afford the best, look at the fujitsu:

Here are some models to check out in a more reasonable price range, I am not a fan of the samsung sp-p4251 to glare/reflection issues:

Panny 25

JVC pd-42V475

Hitachi 42EDT41

The Zenith P42W46X is starting to have a following, see this tread:
