I'm about to buy my first large TV, but it's not as straight forward as I was hoping. Ideally, I would love to get a 52-55" localized LED backlight LCD. These things are definitely where the market is going, and they are pretty top of the ladder. Only problem is they are also super new and thus cost way more than they should. I would much rather wait 1-2yrs until LED backlit LCDs are the norm and cheaper.
So, this now puts me in a situation where I'd like to buy something, but only to keep for about 1-2 years. The goal is that I would like to get something that depreciates in value as little as possible.
Basically, I want to slap this puppy on Craigslist in a year to two years time, and get as much money back as possible.
Soo, What kind of TV would do that for me? I would like to get something 47 52 (preferred) or 55" and can spend up to 1800. Which TV holds its value the best? Any suggestions?
