I have a Panasonic 5.1 bought it in 2007 SA-PT753. But I was not using the 5.1 because I disconnect my rear surround because it was conflicting with my Wifi since is an old system. Then I saw on sale a Sonos Beam and I bought it and disconnected my Panasonic. The problem with my old system is that I have to constantly have the remote control in my hand upping and lowering the volume because I can't hear well people talking and then is to loud when Bruce Willis blows up something. Then with the Songs Beam I can hear well but I really miss the power of the 5.1 Then I order a Sonos Base and after reading around people are saying you can get something better for that price.
Budget $1000 for a central left and right front sub and receiver. I'm open to sounder combination.
I want the capability to play something from my phone either bluetooth or Wifi.
Sonos comes with Alexa and voice command but I don't use that it is disable.
I don't care for rear surround speakers but if recommended for a better experience I can go $1300
The surround back speakers need to be no cables from receiver to speakers only power is posible.
Living room space is 20 feet x 20 feet but is an open area including the dinning room. and extends 20 extra feet in front of the TV but nobody is going to be sitting over there.
Let me know if I miss anything and thanks in advance

Where should I post this?
Are you looking to build your own speakers? If so, this is the correct subforum.

If you're looking to purchase pre-built speakers, this subforum is where you want to head.

Since you're asking about receiver, speakers and sub, perhaps the Audio Theory and Setup forum is best.
https://www.avsforum.com/forum/91-audio-theory-setup-chat/

However, there are separate forums for Receivers/Amps and Speakers that are much more active.

https://www.avsforum.com/forum/89-speakers/

There's also a subwoofer forum, but a lot of times they get wrapped into the speaker forum
https://www.avsforum.com/forum/113-subwoofers-bass-transducers/

Subwoofer discussions will get to DIY advocates, which will lead you back here :)

Where should I post this?
