Hello all,

It's that time again, I need to replace my older Marantz receiver. It was a nice one, but it just doesn't have all the options I need now.

Anyway, what I'm looking for is a relatively (sp?) inexpensive (around $1000 range) receiver. My biggest requirement is the ability to switch 3 component sources. Most receivers that I have looked at can switch 2, but that won't work. I have a 1st gen Mits HDTV, and want to keep my HDTV DBS box, and add Progressive Scan DVD, and an XBOX using the HD AV Pack for 480p.

Thanks

Mark

I had the same problem with the same type equipment. Denon has the 5803 with 3 component outputs but it costs 4 grand. I decided to use a composite switcher .

real cheap too, although it is manual.

The Denon 4802 will also switch three component inputs and it lists for $2499. Can be purchased on the net (without warranty) beginning at $1650.
