Hello everyone,
I used to have a set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers. I recently purchased a set of Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speakers. I was sorely disappointed at the midrange performance. It was just practically non-existent.
Considering that it is a 500 W system (4 X 62 W + 69 W center), are there some better speakers I could use? I am not particularly experienced with home theater and all that, but I would assume that I would have to buy speakers that are approved for that wattage.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I am still on a relatively low budget, but would like to hear richer and fuller sound. Currently, the Z-5500s just seem crisp and clear, but not rich. For example, my Klipsch ProMedia speakers seemed very satisfactory. I am looking for equivalent or superior performance.
