I dont want to fork out the extra money per month for digital cable so i was going to use my existing DVD/VCR combo to feed cable into and get out a component signal to feed into my Infocus X1 Projector.
My current combo only allows for component output while playing a dvd and not while watching cable TV or a VHS tape.
Is there a DVD/VCR combo that will provide a Component output no mater what the input is. I would like for it to have progressive scan since that is what the Infocus X1 needs. Also an optical audio output is wanted.
I dont care about the brand at this point in time but i would like to keep it under $200
