I have a small TV room and my wife has finally agreed to purchasing a soundbar. I started looking at some of the higher-end powered options, but pretty quickly shifted to some passive options. Let me know what you think of this 3.1 system:

Receiver: Integra DSX-3, I like the small form factor and it doesn't appear that I would be sacrificing any functionality
Passive Soundbar: Revel LCR8
Sub: Revel B8

New TV: Sony x950G

Separate speakers are not an option. And it looks like I can get everything except for the TV around 2K.

I'm sure it'll beat out the (usually crappy) tv speakers. Revel is a good brand, but I'm not familiar with their soundbar models.
