I am lookinig for an FM antenna like this one. I stopped by radio shack and they did not seem to have any. For some reason this one is not working anymore. It has been working fine, and then this weekend the radio would not get any reception hardly at all. This just pushed on and seems to be pretty loose and not connecting that well. When I would play with it would go in and out.


Can anyone help me out?

Here is the manual for it and on page 27 it says to use a F connector. But a F Connector is a connector is usually the end on a coaxial cable and has grooves to screw it on. The terminal on the back of my radio is smooth and does not have a way to screw it on. So if you look at the picture I attached above that is what has come with it and you see that it is smooth.

All you need is these two parts.


FM Antenna

you should be able to get both from radio shack or home depot/lowes, maybe even Kmart or Walmart.

Thanks for that info. Would the ones I posted work as well? I was at Radio Shack yesterday and saw the antenna you posted, but the guy who helped me seem clueless and the manager was as well. I am going to go back in today and hopefully they have it.
