I got the receiver cheap on eBay and always knew it probably wasn't that great. My question is - is it a good match for the speakers that I have now or if I get something better will I enjoy a noticeable difference with this Fluance set?
It's probably fine as far as power is concerned but all the newer receivers have some type of room calibration software that helps optimize the system for your room.
How much are you willing to spend for a new receiver?

Probably not enough. lol I was hoping to discover that around $100 for something used or refurbished would get me an upgrade over my current receiver. I mean I paid like $80 for it on eBay almost 10 years ago.
