I'm looking for a good 2 way electronic cross over with independant frequency control, phase adjust, and that I can adjust down to at least 50 HZ.

Does anyone besides Behringer make anything to do this for me? (I heard they are noisy)

I currently am using an NHT x2, I like it but need 24db slopes.....

ideas?

thanks,

Bill

Is it for a 2-way or 3-way or....?

I use an Electrovoice Dx38. It's a 2 in, 4 out with some DSP placed between. Works great for my needs. I didn't notice any budget. These are about $1,300 new but you can find them on Ebay for $600/800. There was once a plethora of them on Ebay (7 at once) and I bought two for $500 and a third for $400.

The Behringers aren't noisy if you use them correctly.

Here's another, potentially cheaper alternative. MiniDSP

Billy,

Just wondering why you need the crossovers to be adjustable. I agree you need to choose them, but one decided, can they not be fixed? That would make things a lot easier (less expensive).

It can go as low as you want. Just plug in the number in "custom equations".

Not many in the grand scheme of active crossover circuit board. Plus, those resistors and capacitors are cheap. If you know someone with experience in this type of work, it should be easy. Here's Rane's support page.

I was going to buy a new Rane AC22 S but the Rane Engineer told me it cant be modified. He said if I want to mod one I would need an older AC22 B with through hole componets, so I found a B on ebay and bought it.

Thanks for everyone's help!
