Sorry if I was misunderstood. I am not looking for an 8x8 switch. I am looking for a 8x1 switch. I have an Audio Authority 4x1 that I purchased when it first came out. I now need to add additional HD devices and was just looking at replacing the Audio Authority.
The Pelican 957 looks interesting. Except that it looks like it really is not 7x1 for component. At least I don't think it is. I think most web sites are misleading and there is really only 3 component inputs. Also it looks to be out of stock almost everywhere.
If I can't get 8x1 under $100. What is out there under $75 that is 4x1 or 5x1? I do need OPT also on it. Really need just Component and Opt. I will just end up connecting the Audio Authority and this new switch

BTW, I am only looking at hardware not a soft switch. So fine pushing the button. We have had to do this anyway with the AA because Moxi and Tivo output video all the time anyway.
BTW2, I am talking US dollars. I know I can get 1x4 switches without audio for under $20. Not sure where you are looking Fletch. $150 for a 4x1 switch without audio is over 7x too much.
Here is a 3x1 component switch with audio for $13.00. But not optical audio.
