These are what I have now.

Center

Rear

Any way, I am looking to upgrade my speakers. I am willing to spend 600 dollars at this time for some towers up front. I was thinking that I could move my current fronts to the rears and buy these for 300... http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...cat=15&scat=17 and use them for the new fronts.

Or should I just go and get some nice polks or infinity's for the towers and in about 3-4 months change the Center and rears.

Do you like the sound of the Sony speakers?

My suggestion would be to look at - http://www.axiomaudio.com . These speakers have been getting decent reviews and don't blow your budget (if you don't mind buying on the internet).

There are some really great speakers if you get out of the BEAST BUY frame of mind. Totem's Dreamcatcher system for around 1500 bucks and will probably sound better than most. Anoter brand would be Phase Technology - decent for HT applications.

I am sure there will be many more suggestions from people on this forum.

Ya know...

At the risk of being labelled a "Rocket Drone", I have to say I am very impressed with them. My $399 Rocket 150 bookshelfs sound easily as good as the $800 Infinity towers that I bought at "Good Guys" - and blew away the Boston Acoustics bookshelfs they replaced!

So, for your price range, I'd urge you consider the Rocket 550 towers ($899 list) or the Rocket 250 bookshelfs ($699). Simply amazing. I am in the process of hooking up and listening to my new Rocket 750 / 300 / 200 package that arrived today.
