Well I'm looking to converge after years and years of CRT's I have decided that I want to save a little space and go with something a little different this time 
So I have decided to go with an LCD. I would love to go with a plasma but it's just so wrong for me. I would end up destroying it gaming in the first or second week =P
Anyways here's what I want.
I need a DVI for my PC. I'll be using my main PC as both a DVD player/scaler as well as a computer. I need at least 1 component input for my game consoles (I have an inday component switch). I would like to stay in the 26-30inch size range, and of course it has to be 16:9.
Money is also a concern I don't really want to spend more then 1,6000. In this range I have found only one LCD that fits the bill. Thorugh CDW with discount I can get the Viewsonic 30inch N3000w for right around 1,6000. My only question is, what have you guys heard about this display? Is there anything else you could recommend in my range (front projection is out of the question since light in this area is beyond my control).
