looking for the best performing 37 " lcd

I was looking at an LCD is the 37" range but decided on the 37" Panasonic (TH-37PX50U) Plasma instead. What are your specifications? Do you want to be able to connect a laptop or desktop computer to display? LCD just reminds me too much of a computer screen and I believe plasma has more depth.

For DVD then the Panny Plasma is nice and affordable. For computer, the new sharps. If you go to 40inch youll have alot more choice.


37in is ideal for me but Im gonan go with a samsung 40inch LCD.

The Westinghouse 37" monitor is the best value. It has average video performance at a very low price for 1080p. The Sharps do look -slightly- better to my eyes at 2X the price. I have been happy since getting the original LVM-37w1 early this year. The current LVM-37w3 also looks good and has HDMI.
