I have MCE2005, I don't need a remote, but I need to control STB with ir blaster. So I need IR Hardware that will be recognized in XP Media Center.

Any place I can get USB part of MCE kit only? I have few 3.5mm ir blasters so don't even need those.

Unless remote is necesary for IR hardware to be detected.

Search eBay for "HP IR Receiver". It shouldn't be any more than $15 shipped.
