Hi all:

I have had my X1 for about a week and am loving it every day. I consider myself to be very "anal" when it comes to picture quality. Of all the plasmas, RPTVs and CRTs i have looked at, there have been very few that I have ever liked.

But the X1 just blows me away everytime i watch a good DVD. The PQ is just outstanding(specially for the money). Even SD broadcast looks way better than I expected.

The way our room is right now I have to run cables all around the walls to get to the Projector and I need about 50 foot of S video and Component cable. I have looked on EBAY and have only found black 50 foot cables. I woudl really like to run White cables if I can.

Please advise if there is a place online where I can buy white cables.

Thank you

Do what I did - make your own component cables (any color you like).

I made a 30' cable for

I obviously can't take the credit for the idea but I will happily pocket the savings :)

PM me if you have any questions.

They do have a 50ft white as requested. However, these are VGA to component video cables. I use a cheapie vga switch box and one of these, plus two of the VESA to component adapters sold by infocus with a couple of component video cables to get all of my progressive sources through the single progressive input on the x1. If I was doing it over again, I would use three of these cables and skip the infocus adapter altogether, since it is a ripoff and you still need to buy the component cables to use with them. I had a very good experience buying from cablewholesale.com.
