Lord of the ODD colors

I've been testing out projectors. So far I've tested out three or four different brands with lots off of different specs. I've been using Lord of the Rings as one of my test movies. I've been noticing that this particular movie is very hard to reproduce. The colors are all over the place, sometimes they look fine and then in other scenes everything seems off. I have also watched the same movie on my Toshiba theater wide TV and have notice some of the same problems when watching it on the TV just not as bad. I also used Attack of the Clones for testing and that movie seems to look fine. Also Minority report with a little adjustment was also fine. Any input would be appreciated.
