Loss of Sync Nec 6pg Xtra
I have just hooked up a CSM42 http://www.video-storm.com/proddetail.asp?prod=CSM42
4:2 matrix component switch to my 6pg xtra. I'm using it in conjunction with a Altinex TR6102hD component to RGB transcoder. The problem I have is that during bright flashes the projector will lose sync. I'm pretty sure it's because the video signal voltage is too high. The switch and the transcoder are built to amplify video signals for long cable runs. I have no problem running video straight to the transcoder but as soon as I add the switch I get problems. Is there a way to reduce the signal level, maybe with an extron product?
