Most likely a blown STK chip on the C-drive board. A common problem on NEC PG chassis's. It's a cheap fix though so don't worry too much.

Ditto. Either fix it yourself, or send it to Curt.

Easy either way.

Thank you

Is the c-drice the one on the top above the r&g tube? And does it say STK chip?

Slotted in between the red and green tube are two boards. (You need to fold the deflection board up/down to see them).

One of these boards has a large STK and small STK chip on it (the STK chips are clearly visible mounted on the bottom of the chassis) this is the F-drive. The other board has 2 identical large STK chips on it. This is the C-drive. One of these large STK chips on the C-drive has failed.
