I have a need for a low cost receiver to power 6 ceiling speakers for casual listening, four are in master bedroom, two in a second bedroom. I have no need to do any video switching with this receiver. I am looking at 7.1 to drive all 6 speakers. My budget is around $200 delivered but I want the best value for my money. I am planning to buy refurb from HarmonAudio, ecost, or accessories4less. I have read thru many of the posts in the forum and have narrowed it down to the following.

I am considering (all refurb/recert):

Denon AVR1508, AVR1907

Onkyo TX-SR505, TX-SR506, TX-SR575

Marantz SR3001

Pioneer - cannot seem to find refurbs online

HK 247 (exceeds budget)

Would appreciate any advice that will help me come to a quick decision amongst these.

Thanks.

I just got the hk 247 refurb through harmon kardon ebay site for 200 bucks.... I think you should consider that and save another 25 dollars for shipping
